Min försäljning är mycket triggad av primärt osäkerhet varför dom bara fått 400k subscribers ... förklaringen kan dock vara så enkel att Funcom har server kapacitet för 700k med bara tryckte upp 400k-500k spel ... jag vet dock att i två av dom största spelkedjorna i Sverige är det slutsålt, ett gott tecken ... men 400k subs idag var för mig en besvikelse. Vågar inte ligga kvar.
Men mina huvudskäl till försäljning är dock att jag måste säkra undan pengar då jag skall betala 400.000 SEK i kapitalskatt nu i sommar, samt att jag ville öka i min huvudsatsning ... i en svensk aktie ... Net Insight. Dom säljer dataväxlar worldwide. Har en överläsen teknik för video och allt är patenterat. En aktie jag haft i 10 svettiga år som först nu börjar ge avkastning.

Ingenting overraskende; tror ikke det er noen som har klart å oppnå 400 000 aktive spillere på litt over en uke. Det ser forresten ut som om WoW brukte flere måneder på å oppnå 500 000 spillere.

WOW hadde vel 280k+ til å starte med, noe som har bygd seg sakte (raskt?) og sikkert oppover igjennom de årene spillet har eksistert. Nå må vi huske at WOW har lagt til rette MMO markedet, og fått mange flere til å se muligheten i slike spill. Dermed er det på en måte "lettere" for andre som kommer etter å få en "flying" start.
Men, hvis nykommerne skal holde på spillerne må de levere. Uansett, 400k den første uken er bra, men markedet trodde det skulle bli enda bedre. Derfor er kursen nede på 40 tallet igjen i dag.

Gått opp enda en plass. Føler prisfallet ikke er berettiget; bare 3 dager siden spillet ble lansert i Europa f.eks., når de tallene ble lagt ut.

Age of Conan conquers the market
Age of Conan was launched without any major technical issues in both North America and Europe. As of May 26th Funcom has 0,4m active players. The numbers look impressive and so far the launch is going according to the high case scenario for Funcom. The company reported Q1 results, however, they are not significant since they do not include numbers from Age of Conan yet.
Currently the market leader World of Warcraft has around 10,0m subscribers. Age of Conan could bite a chunk of those subscribers. The biggest competitor of Age of Conan Warhammer online was delayed until fall 2008, thus the current timing is very good for Funcom.
As our confidence in the company increases we upgrade our base case esti-mate of the maximum number of subscribers achieved to 1,2m and our DCF-based target price from NOK 26,40 to NOK 56,00. This implies our 6-month recommendation upgrade from Hold to Buy.
Conclusion

Gid jeg visste hvordan andre ville tolke de nyhetene :P
Ser på analysen til Orion nå, ser også at de bare regner på AoC slik som det er akkurat nå - har ikke tatt høyde for utvidelsespakker, porting til konsoll og andre inntektskilder. De kalkulerer på en peak a 1,2 mill brukere, oppnådd rundt 2010.
Kan noen gi meg rett til å legge ut filer her? Er vel greit å legge ut .pdf filen, eller?
Forventer forøveri at kursen vil stige imot 55 igjen, nå som "seriøse" analysehus støtter en oppside.
BTW: Orion har tideligere hevet kursmålet til 50kr. Merkelig at de sier ifra 26 til 56 nå..

Utvecklingen av produkten har vänt och går nu i den riktning jag vill samt att försäljningen börjar att gå bra. youtube gör också sitt jobb och gör bra reklam för spelet, vilket bäddar för en försäljning över 1 miljon.

eller om ryktet rundt at x360 versjonen er stoppet produksjon på ?
