oil and gas industry. SeaBird specializes in high quality operations

within the high end of the source vessel and 2D market, as well as in

the shallow water 2D/3D market. Main focus for the company is

proprietary seismic surveys (contract seismic). Main success criteria

for the company are an unrelenting focus on Quality, Health, Safety

and Environment (QHSE), combined with efficient collection of high

quality seismic data.

04/04-2008 08:00:00: (SBX) SeaBird - vessel utilization Q1 2008

April 4, 2008. British Virgin Islands/Dubai: SeaBird Exploration

Limited (BVI) ('SeaBird" or "SBX") announced today the vessel

utilization for the first quarter of 2008. For this purpose vessel

utilization is defined as the percentage of the full quarter where

the vessel is in paid work either in the form of acquisition,

mobilization, demobilization, steaming, standby or other.

All eight vessels were in operation in the quarter with an average

vessel utilization of around 92% for the full quarter. Four of the

vessels (Aquila Explorer, Harrier Explorer, Kondor Explorer and Hawk

Explorer) were on time charter contracts for the whole quarter and

three of them had close to 100% utilization and chargeable time,

while the Hawk Explorer had vessel utilization slightly below 90%.

Hawk Explorer will be out of production for approximately one week in

Q2 2008 to make certain improvements to seismic equipment with the

aim of bringing the vessel performance back to our targets.

Munin Explorer had a vessel utilization of around 69%. The Munin

Explorer has been working for ONGC on the west-coast of India the

whole quarter. The first part of the survey has been challenging in

a congested area with significant fishery, hence acquisition rate has

been below target for the initial phase of the survey. Furthermore,

as a consequence of damages to seismic equipment from fishing gear,

the vessel was out of production for around 21 days waiting for

replacement and repair of damaged equipment. Munin Explorer is now

acquiring in deeper water, where acquisition rates have been

significantly better.

Osprey Explorer and Northern Explorer had vessel utilization well

above 95% while the Geo Mariner had vessel utilization slightly below

90% caused by some technical downtime during the quarter. These

three vessels have all mobilized to projects in India in the last

half of the quarter. The revenues for these vessels for the quarter

is negatively affected by the long mobilization period to get all

necessary clearances in India, but are now all acquiring and have

commenced satisfactorily on their respective survey areas.

The Hugin Explorer is still under conversion to a state of the art

node vessel for the SeaBed operations and is expected to commence

operations in Q2 2008.

On the basis of the utilization of the fleet for the first quarter

2008, we expect to recognize revenues in the range of USD 37-39

million for the quarter.

Hei

Fin, fin nyhet i dag. Solgte hele beholdningen på dagens oppgang. Årsakene er ganske enkle. Hugin generer ikke cash før i Q3 og finansene i selskapet ser ikke gode ut: De må ha mer penger. Kan komme ny emisjon...

Mvh,

28/04-2008 08:32:19: (SBX) SeaBird first contract award for SeaBed operations

April 28, 2008. British Virgin Island/Dubai: SeaBird Exploration

Limited (BVI) ('SeaBird' or 'SBX').

SeaBird has received a letter of award from Total E&P Angola

("Total") for an ocean bottom nodes seismic acquisition survey in

Angola. The concessionaire of Block 17 is Sonangol. TotalFinaElf is

the operator with a 40% interest in Block 17 along with Esso

Exploration Angola (Block 17) Limited (20 %), BP EXPLORATION (Angola)

Limited (16.67%), Statoil Angola Block 17 AS (13.33%) and Norsk Hydro

(10%). Including mobilization and demobilization the survey is

expected to take around 4 months, and the total contract value for

the survey will be in the region of US$ 25 million. The survey will

be done at around 1,300 meters water depth.

SeaBird took delivery of the vessel Hugin Explorer in January 2008

and is now in the final stages of the conversion to a

state-of-the-art node vessel for our SeaBed operations. Currently, we

expect to commence operations after mobilisation to Angola in early

Q3.

SeaBird Chairman and CEO, Tim Isden, stated the following:

This letter of award represents a first major recognition from oil

companies for our SeaBed operations and provides our first contract

in the high end of the seismic industry where we see great potential

for the future in reservoir imaging and 4C / 4D applications . We

are extremely happy to reach this milestone and to have Total as our

contractual partner in our first survey using our autonomous node

acquisition system in deepwater and congested areas.

Uansett

Mvh og lykke til,

Fra s. 23:

"As described above, at year-end SeaBird had a cash

balance of USD 11.6 million and an unused unsecured

revolving short-term loan facility with a total

limit of USD 10 million as of 31 December 2007.

Furthermore, we released USD 4.2 million from a

financial instrument in January 2008 and around

USD 22 million (around NOK 116 million) net, from

the issuance of new equity in February 2008. Furthermore,

we have a total of USD 51.8 million of

interest-bearing loans and borrowings falling due in

2008. USD 35 million of this relates to unsecured

revolving/renewable credit facilities for which we are

in a dialogue with the banks for renewal. SeaBird is

dependent on renewing part or all of these credit

facilities or finding other alternative sources of

financing to replace them to secure a satisfactory liquidity

for 2008. We also have a dialogue with banks

to change the instalment plans for loans with total

repayments scheduled in 2008 of USD 14.6 million.

Based on this, we believe that we have adequate

liquidity to support our operations and the

investment programme. However, we do not have

a significant margin on our current financing plan.

Therefore, we are evaluating the situation very closely

and we might have to secure other sources of financing."

Takk for info.
