Bartender Posted september 24, 2007 Author Report Share Posted september 24, 2007 With respect to the television segment aired on Sunday, 23 September on NRK, Crew Minerals would like to clarify that it has in no way acted inappropriately in Mindoro, The Philippines. The Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that was signed in 1999 with a sub- tribe of the Alangan tribe was supervised by the National Committee for Indigenous People (NCIP) in accordance with Indigenous Peoples Rights Act and the Philippine Mining Law. This agreement does not give Crew Minerals the right to mine its concession. Mining permission requires an Environmental Compliance Certificate (ECC) which the project is not mature enough to even apply for today. Today`s work with the feasibility study and environmental and community relations programs is all work that is being conducted towards an ECC application. With respect to the sub-concession related to this MOA, the Company does not plan to move any permanent settlements. This sub-concession is planned be where the first 20 years of operation will take place. It is 20 square kilometers in size, and yearly activity will involve approximately 1 sq. km of land which will be immediately replanted with endemic trees and fruit trees. The community relations programs such as microfinance, medical and dental assistance, educational sponsorships and potable water/irrigation infrastructure programs that the Company conducts are part of the fulfillment of the Mining Law of the Philippines that requires companies to invest a percentage of their exploration/development budget to community development programs. Crew Minerals ASA is dedicated to the responsible and sustainable development of the Mindoro Nickel Project, and is designing all potential mining activities to comply with the World Bank`s Equator Principles. Zoonic Posted september 24, 2007 Report Share Posted september 24, 2007 Dette skriver FIRST om CMI idag: ______________ Crew Minerals Buy (Repeated) First Look Date of publication: 24/09/2007Date for prices: 21/09/2007Date for input-data: 24/08/2007Basic Buy Target price: 33.1 NOKPrice: 12.7 NOKTicker: 24 September 2007 Hit hard by skewed TV News Report We believe the recent drop in the share price based on a negative TV News Report creates a solid buying opportunity as the local agreement is based upon the Indigenous Peoples Rights Act (IPRA) and the Philippine Mining Law, and it was supervised by the National Committee for Indigenous People (NCIP). Also, the Mindoro project has already been through the Supreme Court a few years ago. In recent days the long-term nickel future has rallied and created an interesting trading opportunity. We reiterate our BUY recommendation. CMI signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) in 1999 with a sub- tribe of the Alangan tribe. This process was supervised by NCIP in accordance with IPRA and the Philippine Mining Law. The agreement includes a 2% royalty to the local community, compared to the 1%-level required by law and not just some rice as indicated in the News Report. Also, the law requires Crew Minerals to provide microfinance, medical and dental assistance, educational sponsorships and potable water/irrigation infrastructure programs. Thus, this is not bribes as hinted by the News Report. Also, Crew Minerals does not plan to move any permanent settlements as stated in the TV News Report. The project has solid central support and also considerable local support. However, we believe there will always be a local opposition from parties that feel they could make a better deal. Thus, we believe the negative share price response creates an interesting buying opportunity. Especially taking into account the recent jump in the long-term nickel future in NOK as displayed below (the graph does not include today’s drop in the share price). Short-term newsflow includes the pre-feasibility study conducted by Aker Kværner. Based on results from this study we believe CMI may attract interesting parties and financing of the project. ______________
Bartender Posted oktober 3, 2007 Author Report Share Posted oktober 3, 2007 Crew Minerals ASA is pleased to report an update for its 2007 diamond exploration activities in West Greenland. The exploration campaign has the following highlights: - Numerous new kimberlite dyke locations were identified in the Maniitsoq region, and 73 samples totalling approximately 2.3 tonnes were sampled for analysis of diamond content - It was discovered that the known scattered occurrences of kimberlite dykes in the Maniitsoq region seemingly belong to three distinct dyke swarms - Each dyke swarm hosts several segments with 2-2.5 m width over several hundred meters of strike length - The largest dyke swarm is nearly 30 km long During 2006 and 2007 Crew Minerals was granted three exclusive exploration licenses with a total area of 2,264 km2 within the two main kimberlite provinces of West Greenland. Licenses no. 2006/08 (197 km2) and no. 2007/04 (1,746 km2) cover nearly the entire Maniitsoq kimberlite province, while license no. 2007/34 (321 km2) covers a previously unexplored area of the Sarfartoq province located 120 km to the north. Crew Minerals` first-pass reconnaissance campaign in 2006 showed that 18 out of 20 samples from widely scattered kimberlite dykes throughout the Maniitsoq licence areas contained diamonds. (Please see press release dated 15 January 2007). Also, several new kimberlite occurrences were discovered as the result of systematically traversing areas in the `up-ice` direction of previously reported kimberlite indicator minerals (KIMs) from till samples, suggesting a close spatial relationship between KIMs in overburden and their kimberlite sources throughout the Maniitsoq province. The aim of the 2007 campaign was to more systematically map and sample the kimberlite dyke systems along strike in order to locate any areas of greater dyke widths, and higher content and greater sizes of diamonds. Several new kimberlite dykes were discovered in this process, and substantial extensions to several of the already known dykes were found. Kimberlite dyke widths of 2-2.5 m for over several hundred meters of strike length have been found at many localities among the new occurrences. The work showed that the Majuagaa-Sillissannguit trend constitutes a single, nearly 30 km long dyke swarm, which is possibly one of the largest kimberlite dyke swarms known in the industry. 1.4 tonnes of kimberlite samples from 45 sites were collected for diamond test work from this system, and a further 0.9 tonnes were collected from 28 other sites in the Maniitsoq region. With the discovery of the many new occurrences there now appear to be three main linear kimberlite trends in the Maniitsoq region, each with two or several parallel dykes arranged in an en echelon pattern: Majuagaa-Sillissannguit, Puiattoq-Tasersuatsiaq and Timitta Tasersua (see map). These highly encouraging discoveries suggest that the Maniitsoq kimberlite province is controlled by very large, deep-seated crustal structures. In addition, new sampling totalling approximately 1 tonne of till materials (glacially transported overburden) for kimberlite indicator minerals was also conducted in a previously little explored part of the Sarfartoq kimberlite province. All kimberlite and till samples will be processed for diamond content and KIMs by renowned Canadian laboratories, and results are expected by the end of 2007. Hans Christian Qvist, President and CEO of Crew Minerals ASA states `We are pleased that this summer`s systematic sampling and prospecting program in selected areas has resulted in the discovery of numerous new kimberlite occurrences and substantial extensions of the known dykes. We believe that there are still additional kimberlites to be found from our systematic search in areas showing indications from till samples, regional structures, and local lineament patterns. While awaiting the diamond results from this year`s sampling of kimberlites, we are excited to learn that some dykes seemingly have greater volume than previously known, as dyke widths of 2-2.5 m are now reported from several localities.` Hans Christian Qvist President and CEO Crew Minerals ASA

Du får fylle inn "The Blanks". 20.05.08 13:13, ny 20.05.08 13:
Evleos Posted mai 20, 2008 Report Share Posted mai 20, 2008 Denne analysen drar nok på månedene, men: 24. Januar, Orion Securities. "Intex Resources has completed the pre-feasibility study in the Mindoro Nickel project. This is good news, as it shows that the company is keeping up with its plans. However, due to the increased guided costs and weaker dollar, we have revised the estimated fair value of the company’s share down from NOK 22,80 to NOK 18,40. We set our 6-month target at NOK 11,00, returning a retained Strong Buy recommendation." Ellers: "• Intex Resources has announced successful completion of the pre-feasibility study in the company’s main asset, Mindoro Nickel project. We consider the news to be a good sign, as Intex Resources keeps implementing its plans and is one step closer to production in Mindoro. • Still, pre-feasibility study shows that the Mindoro Nickel project requires higher both, capital expenditure and operating costs for Stage-1 and Stage-2, compared to the company’s previous guidance. Estimated operating costs are up to USD 7 900 per ton in Stage-1 and up to USD 6 600 per ton in Stage-2 (previous operating costs estimates were USD 5 200 per ton and USD 4 000 per ton respectively). Total need for capital expenditure is revised upwards by USD 350m, from USD 1 700m to USD 2 050m mostly due to increased energy and equipment costs, as well as weakening US dollar. • The pre-feasibility study was completed on time; therefore, we had increased our probability of success factor from 30% to 40%. We remain conservative on the long-term nickel price and stick to our estimates of USD 13 250 per ton, while spot prices in London Metal Exchange are twice as high. After adjusting our estimates for the new probability of success as well as new capex and opex estimates, we have reduced our estimated fair value of the company from NOK 22,80 to NOK 18,40 per share. This is still more than a triple upside from the current share price level. • We see a limited possibility for the share to reach NOK 18,40 price level in a 6-month period; therefore, setting our target price, we have applied a 40% discount to the estimated value of the company and reduced our target to NOK 11,00 per Intex Resources share, which still qualifies the share for a Strong Buy recommendation. Our positive view towards the share is supported by the recent insider buy."
I dag forsvarer nesten selskapets kontantbeholdning kursen alene.
delirious Posted mai 8, 2009 Report Share Posted mai 8, 2009 Fin melding i dag. Handles i dag for 2,95!
